Growing up as a child with my Grandparents in a small town in St Ann Jamaica, West Indies. I use to see my Grandparents doing alot of cultivation like: planting scallion, thyme, onion, garlic, scotch bonnet pepper, ginger, sugar-cane, picking pimento seeds from the pimento trees at harvesting time and animal rearing.

Things for my family during that time were hard, meat for us to eat was unaffordable, so we would raise our own chickens, cows, goats and pigs. My Grand-Mother would sow and reap all her spices and use them to make seasoning to prepare a well cooked, home-made meal for us.

Helping my Grandparents on their farm gave me the motivation, inspiration and the drive, to use all those spices to make Jaro's Jerk Seasoning and sauces. I have used my sauce in the past in local restaurants in Jamaica and in the New York City areas (The Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens). My customers has always given me astounding reviews and because of this I decided to package my sauce and share it globally.

Everyone deserves a chance to taste our wonderful seasonings.
